Grilled Halibut


You came here for the grilled flatfish, but you're likely staying for the mango salsa.

Grilled Halibut

INGREDIENTS:

FOR THE HALIBUT
  • 4 (4-6-oz.) halibut steaks
  • 2 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper

FOR THE MANGO SALSA
  • 1 mango, diced
  • 1 red pepper, finely chopped
  • 1/2 red onion, diced
  • 1 jalapeno, minced
  • 1 tbsp. freshly chopped cilantro
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat grillwork to medium-high and touch halibut with oil on both sides then toughen with flavoring and bush.
  2. Grille halibut until toasted through, about 5 minutes per take.
  3. Form salsa: Mix unitedly all ingredients in a psychic vessel and flavor with flavouring and seasoning. Serve salsa over halibut.
